Paintsville took the final two sets of their match with Johnson Central to a 3-1 victory over the Golden Eagles on Monday night.
Hailey Little finished with nine kills and three digs in the 25-11, 23-25, 25-13 and 25-19 match win. Bella Blackburn totaled 10 digs, one serving ace and 16 assists. Hadley Hardin had three kills, two blocks nine digs and two aces.
Kaitlyn Newsome followed with two kills, three digs and six aces while Mattie Ratliff collected nine digs.

Floyd Central and Knott Central met for the first time ever on the volleyball court Monday night and the Lady Jaguars came away with a 3-0 victory.
Gabrielle Howard had six kills and one block in the 25-13, 25-4 and 25-9 win. Caley Howard finished with five kills, three blocks and one assist while Caroline Parsons added two kills, 11 assists and six serving aces.
Floyd Central is hosting Prestonsburg tonight with a chance to finish 6-0 in district play for the second straight year.

Phelps fell behind early on to Pike County Central and the Lady Hornets dropped a 3-0 match at the McCoy Athletic Center on Monday night.
Shakara Lester totaled five kills, 10 blocks and three digs in the 25-7, 25-12 and 25-9 loss. Kara Stevens had seven digs and five assists. Hailey Skeens and Kaylynn Layne added five digs apiece.

Lawrence County shut out Tug Valley, 2-0 (25-17 and 25-19)
Tolsia beat Lawrence County, 2-0 (25-17 and 25-19)
Morgan County defeated Magoffin County, 3-1 (25-14, 25-15, 19-25 and 25-23.
Pikeville blanked Martin County, 3-0 (25-10, 25-23 and 25-16)
Shelby Valley topped Belfry, 3-1 (19-25, 25-21, 25-23 and 28-26).
