Paintsville was a perfect five-for-five in winning the Lady Lions Invitational played at Boyd County High School on Saturday.
The Lady Tigers, now 18-7, defeated Greenup County, 2-0, in the championship match, winning 25-20 and 25-8.
Hailey Little totaled 12 kills, four digs and one ace while Kara Ward finished with 10 kills and two digs. Bella Blackburn had 23 assists.

Paintsville rallied to defeat Boyd County, 2-1, winning 22-25, 25-19 and 25-23.
Ward had 14 kills and four digs while Kaitlyn Newsome added five kills, eight digs and five serving aces. Little finished with 10 kills, three blocks, seven digs and three aces. Hadley Hardin managed seven kills, two blocks and four digs.
In the first meeting with Greenup, the Lady Tigers scored a 2-0 victory, with sets of 25-21 and 25-15.
Blackburn had 12 assists and three digs while Hardin finished with eight digs. Little totaled eight kills and five serving aces.
Paintsville knocked off Ashland Blazer, 2-1, taking the match 25-19, 16-25 and 25-21.
Little had 13 kills and Hardin added eight and 13 digs. Emma Music finished with 11 digs and Newsome had seven kills, five digs and four aces. Mattie Ratliff managed eight digs. Blackburn totaled 28 assists and seven digs.
The Lady Tigers defeated Boyd County a second time, coming from behind for a 21-25, 25-13 and 25-15 win.
Blackburn had three kills, 19 digs, four serving aces and 24 assists. Little totaled 15 kills and three digs. Music managed to get 17 digs.
Floyd Central goes 3-2
in Thoroughbred Smash
Floyd Central scored a 2-1 victory over Meade County to finish 3-2 in the Thoroughbred Smash played at Lafayette High School this past weekend.
Allyson Stumbo had five kills and three blocks in the 25-18, 21-25 and 15-10 win. Allison Turner finished with 3 kills and nine blocks while Gabrielle Howard added four kills and eight blocks.
Kiara Warrens totaled 14 digs and Caroline Parsons had 11 assists.
In other matches, the Lady Jaguars dropped a 2-0 decision to Lafayette, falling 25-12 and 25-19.
Jaden Hall had seven kills, one block and seven digs while Parsons had nine assists and six digs. Warrens totaled 11 digs and Amelia Wallace had five assists and seven digs.
Floyd Central fell to Woodford County, 2-0, losing 25-14 and 26-24.
Warrens had 14 digs and Parsons had eight assists. Gabrielle Howard totaled five kills and two blocks and Caley Howard added five blocks.
The Jaguars defeated Graves County, 2-0, winning 25-15 and 25-13.
Alivia Stumbo had two kills and nine digs. Caley Howard finished with six kills and 10 blocks. Hall totaled 12 digs and eight kills while Parsons had 17 assists and three digs.
Floyd Central opened with a 2-0 win over Rowan County.
Warrens and Hall totaled 13 digs apiece in the 25-18 and 25-19 win. Hall added six kills. Parsons had 11 assists and four digs and Turner finished with two kills, six blocks and five digs.
Gabrielle Howard collected seven kills, four blocks and two digs as the Jaguars moved to 21-7.
