Martin County’s defense came up big as the Cardinals blanked Bath County, 27-0, in a game played in Owingsville on Friday night.
Running back Logan Proctor rushed for 140 yards and a pair of touchdowns on 16 carries as the Cardinals improved to 4-1 this season.
Branson Smith added a rushing touchdown. Alex Dials returned an interception for a score.
Martin County finished with 226 rushing yards.
The Cardinals will play on Oct. 3 at the Reservation against East Ridge (0-5). Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
