Man overcame a slow start to rolled to their fifth victory this season and seventh straight with a 63-14 win over River View in the Hall of Fame game played at George Queen Memorial Field on Friday night.
Quarterback Caleb Milton passed for two scores and ran for two others in a game which saw the Hillbillies score the most points in a single game during Coach Harvey Arms’ era. The previous high was 62 against Logan and Mount View.
Milton completed six of nine passes for 179 yards and rushed for 59 yards on four carries. Reserve running back Erick Plumley ran for two touchdowns while Zack Frye and Josh Moody added one apiece.
Receiver Sam Milton hauled in three passes for 115 yards and one score. Cameran Frye and Moody added TD receptions.
Man will host Lincoln County (5-0) on Oct. 4. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
