Pikeville was pushed to the limits as East Ridge battled the Lady Panthers shot-for-shot before falling, 3-2, in a back-and-forth match played at the Reservation on Tuesday night.
Kaylee Wells finished with 19 kills and McKinlee Potter followed with 14 as Pikeville moved to 19-5 overall. Emily Gearheart totaled 25 digs and Tausha Justice collected 18 in the 25-23, 23-25, 25-18, 15-25 and 17-15 match.
Riley Tavis had 29 assists while Caroline Wright added eight assists. Hannah Akers earned five blocks and three kills and Chloe Wright totaled four kills and three blocks.
Sarah Tackett finished with 15 kills and eight digs for the Lady Warriors, now 11-5. Haley Parks had 10 kills, 15 digs and four serving aces while Hanna Blackburn totaled 16 kills. Hannah Thacker added 13 kills.
Lakin Puckett collected four kills, 46 assists, nine digs and two aces.

Floyd Central pushed its record to 18-5 and 12-0 against 15th Region schools with a 3-0 victory over host Martin County on Tuesday night.
Caley Howard had seven kills and three blocks in the 25-15, 25-13 and 25-4 match win. Amelia Wallace added five kills and 17 assists and Liv Stumbo totaled 10 digs and three serving aces.
Madison Thompson totaled six kills, two blocks and two digs in the loss. Jenna Grayson had nine digs and Kristen Isaac finished with six assists and eight digs. Lila Spaulding added six.
The Lady Cardinals fell to 11-7.

Betsy Layne dropped the final two sets of their match with Belfry in a 3-1 loss on the road Tuesday night.
Madison Hamilton came up big for the Lady Bobcats, finishing with 18 kills and 13 blocks in the 21-25, 25-18, 18-25 and 22-25 loss. Inetta Hamilton added had 12 kills, five digs and eight serving aces.
Madi Meade totaled 12 digs and Lauryn Watkins followed with 1. Maddie Duff finished with 39 assists, four digs and one ace. Emily Johnson had six kills, one block and four aces.

Letcher Central took charge early on against Harlan County and went on to earn a 2-0 victory in a match played at LCCHS Gymnasium on Tuesday night.
Summer Madden had six kills, four digs and one serving ace in the 25-5 and 25-8 win. Emmalee Banks added six digs and three aces while Cali Adams had two kills, two blocks and two digs.
The Lady Cougars evened their record at 8-8.
