Belfry took a 1-0 halftime lead against Boyd County, but the Lady Pirates couldn’t hold on in the second half as they fell, 2-1, in a match played at Massey Energy Soccer Complex on Saturday.
Lady Pirate Kenzie Jackson scored an unassisted goal in the 38th minutes.
BoydCounty tied the match on a goal by Olivia Parsons in the 43rd minute. Laci Danielle Boyd put home the game-winner in the 57th minute.
Belfry’s Kenzie Maynard stopped 17 shots on goal as the Lady Pirates fell to 6-5-1.
