Prestonsburg goalkeeper Jacob Martin recorded his seventh shutout this season as the Blackcats defeated Martin County, 2-0, in the 15th Region All “A” championship match played at The Rock on Saturday.
Grant Justice and Preston Case each scored one goal each as the Blackcats improved to 7-1-0. Dylan Moore and Isaiah Collins added one assist each.
Martin County goalkeeper Ethan Frey had 10 saves as the Cardinals fell to 4-3-0.

Belfry built a 9-2 lead over Man in the first half and went on to score a 16-2 victory at George A Queen Stadium on Saturday.
The Hillbillies, now 0-4-0, are a co-ed squad and West Virginia has no mercy rule. Belfry improved to 6-2-1.
Dalton Stacy had three goals and one assist while Eli Runyon added two goals and one assist. Logan Maynard and Niles McCoy added two goals each.
Ryan Varney, Thomas Bond, Aidan McCoy, Caleb Spears, Isaiah Hackney and Jasper McCoy added one each.
Jaxon Tipton scored a pair of unassisted goals for Man. Cierra Crawford finished with 26 saves in the loss.

Lawrence County lost a tough match with Bath County, falling 3-2 in the Kings of the Mountains even held at Rowan County High School in Morehead on Saturday.
Tyler Maynard scored both goals for the Bulldogs, now 4-4-0. S.J. Lycans and Luke Johnson added one assist each.
Goalkeeper Trenton Adkins had seven saves.

Rowan County took charge early on and cruised to a 9-1 victory over Johnson Central in the Kings of the Mountains even held at Rowan County High School in Morehead on Saturday.
Blake Mullen had four goals and two assists in the win.
JC goalkeeper Tate Cox was roughed up as the Eagles fell to 1-5-1.

Prestonsburg cruised to an 8-0 victory over Martin County in the 15th Region All “A” Classic championship match played at The Rock on Saturday.
Chelsea Samsons and Chelsea Reynolds combined for the Lady Blackcats’ ninth shutout in10 matches this season.
Lauren Patton finished with three goals while Anna Burchett added two and two assists. Makayla Ousley knocked in a pair of goals and had an assist while Elizabeth Burchett added one goal and one assist. Alexis Skeens had an assist.
Martin County goalkeeper Marlie Fletcher had 15 saves as the Lady Cardinals dropped to 3-6-0.
