Floyd Central grabbed an early lead against North Laurel before the home Jaguars roared back to score a 28-6 win in a game played Friday night.
Floyd Central’s lone points came on quarterback Caleb Hager’s two-yard run in the closing seconds of the opening period.
The Jags, now 0-2, were held scoreless the remainder of the game.
Floyd Central will play for the first time this season at home this coming Friday night against Knott County Central (0-2). Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
