Lawrence County’s Tyler Maynard had a hat trick Monday night as the Bulldogs edged Johnson Central, 3-2, in match played at the Dawg House.
Trevor Brooks had a pair of assists and S.J. Lycans added one as Lawrence County moved to 4-1-0.
Goalkeeper Trenton Adkins had eight saves.
Johnson Central’s Jake Headly scored one goal and added an assist while Nathaniel Narendrakumar added one goal.
Goalkeeper Tate Cox finished with nine saves as the Golden Eagles fell to 0-2-1.

Paintsville Braydon Combs scored a pair of goals and Johnny Zuidema and Seth Trador added one each but the Tigers came up short against Hazard, falling 6-4 on Monday night.
Trador also had two assists and Arva Patel added one as Paintsville dropped to 0-4-0.

Paintsville goalkeeper Hope Auxier had six saves and posted her third shutout this season as the Lady Tigers blanked Hazard, 5-0, in a match played on the home turf Monday night.
Michaela Nieminen finished with three goals and one assist as Paintsville moved to 3-1-0. Ava Hyden and Chloe Fleming added one goal each while Destiny Tackett and Camryn Helton each had one save.

Prestonsburg’s Anna Burchett finished with seven goals to power the Lady Blackcats to a 12-0 victory over Shelby Valley in a home match played Monday.
Makayla Ousley followed with three goals and one assist while Shelby Blackburn and Kadynce Hackworth added one goal apiece.
Chloe Collins had five assists and goalkeeper Chelsea Reynolds recorded her fifth straight shutout to open the season.
Prestonsburg is now 5-0-0 while the Lady Cats fell to 0-4-1.
