Has coached his entire 20-year career at Belfry, his alma mater. He was an all-state football player for the Pirates and is currently also serving as assistant principal.
Attended Morehead State University.
He and his wife, Jamie, are the proud parents of three boys, Mason, Layne and Gabe Manning.
What is your coach philosophy? “I try to teach our players to be very disciplined on defense, play hard, and be extremely physical throughout the game.”
What is your favorite kind of music? “I love to listen to country music.”
Who is your favorite artist or group? “Without question it’s George Strait.”
What is your favorite food? “I love to each barbecue chicken. That would be my favorite if I had to choose one.”
Who is your hero? “My parents are and always will be my hero. They have always been there for me and made sacrifices and showed me how to be a good parent and husband.”
