PAINTSVILLE – Paintsville’s Baron Ratliff belted a solo home run to knot the score at three and Jake Hyden singled and stole home with the winning run as the Tigers edged Belfry, 4-3, in a game played at Massey Energy Field May 16.
Matt Baldwin and Karsten Poe both doubled home a run as Paintsville moved to 20-13. Harris Phelps and Hyden both singled and scored.
Zach Taylor was the winning pitcher. Poe came on in relief and returned the final three Belfry batters on strikes.
Wyatt Webb took the loss as the Pirates dropped to 19-8.
Kaleb Taylor doubled, singled and scored a pair of runs while Brett Coleman singled and finished with three RBIs. Logan Windle scored once.

Ryley Preece belted a pair of home runs, scored twice and drove in four runs as the Golden Eagles improved to 28-5. Cody Rice went yard, scored two runs and knocked in two while Hunter McCloud doubled in one run and scored.
Conner Lemaster was the winning pitcher.
Matt Combs singled and scored twice as the Jaguars dropped to 12-17. Chase Conley singled in one run and William Slone added a pair of RBIs.

Braden Walker doubled in one run to help support winning pitcher Mason Gordon.
