PHELPS – Sheldon Clark’s Fallyne Wefenstette blasted a grand slam home run to help lead the Lady Cardinals to an 11-5 victory over Phelps in a game played May 6.
Paige Maynard had two hits and drove in a pair of runs as the Cardinals moved to 12-14. Winning pitcher Gracie Presley added an RBI.
Kaitlyn Layne finished with two hits and knocked in one run for the Lady Hornets, now 7-9. Kaitlyn Layne added two hits and batted in one run while Danielle Prater singled and scored twice.

PIKEVILLE – Pikeville dominated both games of a doubleheader as the Lady Panthers cruised past Jenkins, 19-0 and 10-0, in games played at Myers Field May 6.
In the nightcap, Randi Delong belted a home run, singled, scored three runs and drove in four as the Lady Panthers improved to 19-10. Kendall Hall added a pair of singles, scored twice and knocked home three runs.
Olivia Whitfield tripled, singled and batted in one run while Emily Ford singled twice, scored three runs and added an RBI.
Hannah Akers was the winning pitcher while Kristin Thacker took the loss.
In the opener, Kelcie Adams collected three hits, including a double, scored a pair of runs and knocked in one while Whitfield doubled, singled, scored and batted in two runs.
