PAINTSVILLE – Pikeville pitcher Grayson Harris scattered four hits and the Panthers blanked Paintsville, 2-0, in the City Between the Lakes Tournament played May 4.
Harris struck out 11 batters as the Panthers improved to 11-14.
Paintsville hurler Matt Baldwin was just as sharp, giving up two earned runs on four hits. The Tigers dropped to 15-12. Baldwin fanned six batters.
Nate Brown, Drake Potter and Tate Walters had hits for Pikeville. Nate Collins added an RBI.
Baron Ratliff, Braxton Ratliff, Karsten Poe and Baldwin each had one hit apiece for Paintsville.

Winning pitcher Blake Sizemore had two hits and drove in two runs to help his own cause as the Blackcats moved to 4-15. Payton Burke added two hits and knocked in one run.
Dakota Vance had an RBI for the Panthers, who dropped to 5-11. Justin Hall was tagged with the loss.

Jonathan Potter had a base hit and scored twice to support winning pitcher Evan Coleman.
Sam Little doubled in a pair of runs for the Cougars, now 11-12. Manny Gibson singled, scored and batted in two runs while C.J. Akers had two hits, including a double, scored and added an RBI.
