HS SOFTBALL: Looking back at Lyndel Potter Memorial Tournament

PIKEVILLE – Pikeville rallied from a one-run deficit turn back Pike County Central, 6-4, in the 17th annual Lyndel Potter Memorial Tournament played April 13.

Kelcie Adams had one hit, walked twice, scored two runs and drove in two as the Lady Panthers moved to 14-6.

Kendall Hall batted in two runs and winning pitcher Emily Ford had two singles and scored.

Summer Marcum collected three hits for the Lady Hawks, now 7-10. She knocked in three runs and scored while Bailey Birchfield doubled and scored.

Sydnee Lowe belted a solo home run. Kayleigh Thomas took the loss.

Kelcie Adams had three hits and drove in three runs as the Lady Panthers moved to 13-6. Ginna Jones added two hits and knocked home a pair of runs while Kendall Hall batted in two runs.

Bailey Stiltner collected three hits to help support winning pitcher Hannah Akers.

Losing pitcher Abby Meade hit a solo home run for the Lady Cougars, who fell to 3-9. Makennah Johnson doubled home one run.

Losing pitcher Abby Meade had three hits, including a double, knocked in one run and scored two as the Lady Cougars dropped to 3-8. Gracie McDougal had three singles and batted in two while Regan Anderson doubled, singled, scored and drove in a pair of runs.

Alyssa Franklin added two hits, one a double, scored three times and batted in two. Abigail McDougal added a solo home run.
