PAINTSVILLE – Pikeville pitcher Grayson Harris scattered six hits and Connor Wright added two hits, including a solo home run to help lead the Panthers to a 7-3 victory over Sheldon Clark in the 15th Region All “A” Classic championship game played at Paintsville April 5.
Tanner Hamilton and Nate Brown each drove in a pair of runs as Pikeville moved to 4-5. Christian Billiter had two hits and Drake Potter added one.
Dawson Jude suffered the loss for the Cardinals, now 6-5.

PAINTSVILLE – Pikeville’s Emily Ford struck out 13 batters and the Lady Panthers built a five-run lead and went on to beat Paintsville, 7-3, in the 15th Region All “A” Classic championship game played April 5.
The Lady Panthers, now 9-4, pounded out 14 hits. Olivia Whitfield had three, including a double, while Kelcie Adams, Randi Delong, Kendall Hall and Ford added two apiece.
Anna Keeton took the loss as the Lady Tigers dropped to 8-6.
