PAINTSVILLE – Lawrence County remain undefeated on the young season as the Bulldogs held off Paintsville, 7-5, in a game played March 28.
Austin Roe pounded out three hits and knocked home a pair of runs as the Bulldogs improved to 6-0. Lucas Maynard added two hits to back winning pitcher Corbin Fairchild.
Gunner Collins had one hit and batted in two runs for the Tigers, now 4-3. Jake Hyden collected two hits and scored two runs while Braxton Ratliff tripled, scored and drove in one run.
Gunner Preston suffered the loss.

Chase Hamilton singled and knocked home two runs while Jordan Frazier had a pair of singles and scored.
Gabriel Brown doubled, singled, scored and had an RBI for the Wildcats, who dropped to 2-3. Luke Roberts singled, scored and drove in one run while Auston Rhodes singled and added an RBI.

Weston May singled, scored a pair of runs and added an RBI. Ryan Sartin singled twice and scored two runs while knocking in another. Andrew Music singled, scored and had an RBI.
