HAZARD – Letcher Central held on in the bottom of the sixth inning to edge Perry Central, 5-4, in the season opener for the Lady Cougars March 25.
Alyssa Franklin had a big day with two hits, and she drove in three runs. Kaytlin Morgan added two hits while Gracie McDougal added an RBI.
