NAUGATUCK – Tug Valley punched its ticket to the Class A, Region IV, Section II championship game with a 67-47 victory over Van in a game played at the TVHS Gymnasium Feb. 26.
The Panthers, now 13-11, will play Tolsia in the sectional championship game at 7 p.m. Thursday night at Glenhayes.
Tyler Chaffin fired in 16 points in the win over the Bulldogs. Caleb May followed with 15 and Ian Reed tossed in 12. East Davis added eight.
