WILIAMSON – Tug Valley fell behind early on to West Virginia power Huntington St. Joe and the Lady Panthers dropped an 81-43 decision in the Class A, Region IV, Section II championship game played at Williamson Fieldhouse Feb. 22.
Alyssa Newsome led the Lady Panthers with 11 points as the Lady Panthers dropped to 17-7. Kaylea Baisden followed with 10.
Tug Valley will play at Parkersburg Catholic in the regional final next Thursday.
