ROBINSON CREEK – Floyd Central came from three points down in the final quarter to take the lead away from Shelby Valley to earn a 53-43 victory in a game played at the Shelby Valley Sports Center Jan. 22.
The Lady Jaguars, now 19-1, outscored the Lady Kats (10-11) by a 16-3 margin.
Katie Jo Moore led three Central players in double figures with a game-high 21 points. Lauren Preston and Kaylee Moore followed with 12 apiece.
Alyssa Elswick poured in 20 points to pace Valley. Alyssa Newsome chipped in eight. Cassidy Rowe played for the first time this season after suffering a torn ACL. She saw limited time.
