PIKEVILLE – Paintsville ended East Ridge’s cinderella run in the 15th Region All “A” Classic tournament tonight as the Lady Tigers pulled away in the first half and went on to score a 66-49 win in the championship matchup.
The Lady Tigers, now 16-3, landed three players in double-figure scoring as Anna Keeton led the way with a game-high 28 points. Elizabeth “Swoop” Williams followed with 17 and Clara Blair tossed in 14.
Sarah Tackett paced the Lady Warriors (5-14) with 15 points and eight rebounds while Kyra Looney followed with 11. Haylee Meade chipped in nine.
