EKB Sports Super 7: Lady Jags still 1; PCC at 2

Floyd County Central suffered its first loss this season in the Kentucky 2-A championship sectional tournament but it didn’t factor in to the Lady Jags remaining number one in the latest EKB Sports’ Super 7 girls’ high school basketball rankings.

The biggest move came from Pike County Central (12-6). The Lady Hawks hold down the second spot this week followed by the Pikeville Panthers (12-5).

Paintsville drops to fourth place. The Lady Tigers are 14-3.

Logan tumbled to a fifth-place tie with Letcher County Central (9-3) after dropping three straight games and now stands at 7-4.

Rounding out the poll is number seven Prestonsburg (11-6).

Lawrence County (11-5) and Johnson Central (10-9) received votes.
