East Ridge and Floyd Central advanced to the 15th Region volleyball tournament semifinals with victories at Betsy Layne High School Monday night.
The Lady Warriors defeated Pike County Central, 3-0; while the Lady Jaguars defeated Johnson Central, 3-0.
Sarah Tackett finished with 18 kills and Hannah King added 15 as East Ridge rolled 25-22, 25-14 and 25-21. Kelsi Slone collected 15 digs while Haylee Meade totaled 26 assists.
Meanwhile, Hailey Little had nine kills and Alexis Daniels and Caley Howard followed with seven apiece as Floyd Central advanced with the 25-8, 25-19 and 25-11 match.
Kiara Warrens had 15 digs while Caroline Parsons totaled 16 assists and Amelia Wallace finished with 15.
The two will now square off in the semifinals at 6 p.m. Wednesday night.
