PILGRIMS KNOB – East Ridge running back Kane Taylor rushed 34 times for 237 yards and scored two touchdowns, but his effort wasn’t enough to help the Warriors earn a win at Twin Valley Thursday night.
Cameron Hess and Trey Blackburn added a rushing touchdowns in the loss.
Xzavier Ward returned a kickoff 77 yards for a first-period touchdown and the Panthers went on to score a 48-28 non-district win over the Warriors.
Quarterback Tylor Keen passed for 234 yards and three touchdowns.
The Warriors, now 2-5, will host Prestonsburg (0-7) Friday night. Kickoff on the Reservation is 7:30 p.m.

PHELPS – Hazard running back Trajon Campbell rushed for 137 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Bulldogs to a 35-6 district win over Phelps at Marty Casey Stadium Thursday night.
Skylar Pelfrey and Garrett Miller added rushing touchdowns as the Bulldogs moved to 4-2.
Phelps’ lone score came on a touchdown pass from Garrett Clevenger to Seth Elkins.
The Hornets, now 4-2, will host Pikeville (4-2) Friday night. Kickoff is 7 p.m.

Leslie County quarterback Zack Parker passed for 132 yards and three touchdowns as the Eagles rolled to a 46-16 win over Betsy Layne at Bobcat Stadium last Thursday night.
Running back Taten Smith rushed for a pair of scores and four different receivers had a TD reception.
Betsy Layne, now 0-7, will host Casey County Friday night at 8 p.m.
