HAMLIN – Man running back Nick Plumley scored on a two-yard run in overtime to lift the Hillbillies to a 12-6 win over Lincoln County Monday night.
Plumley finished with 51 yards on nine rushes.
After a scoreless first half, Man, now 3-2, took a 6-0 lead on Daniel Browning’s 64-yard pass reception from quarterback Caleb Milton with 8 minutes, 47 seconds left in the third quarter. The kick failed.
Milton finished with 88 yards passing.
The Panthers pulled even on running back Carson McComas’ two-yard run with 4:08 left in regulation.
Cameron Frye paced the Man ground attack with 73 yards on eight carries.
The Hillbillies will journey to the eastern panhandle Friday for their second game this week when they tackle Keyser (4-1). Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
