East Ridge interim head coach Ben Runyon is no stranger to the Warriors program.
He’s been there through all the ups and downs.
Runyon takes over the football team midway through the season after former head coach Quentin Morgan resigned following the team’s 1-4 start.
“I just want our players to rally around each other and play some football,” Runyon told EKBSports.com.
East Ridge will host Betsy Layne this Friday night at home. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
Morgan was named head coach this year after former head coach Brad Allen stepped down. Allen is now an assistant at Pikeville High School.
