BUCKLEYS CREEK – Pike Central running back Issac Thacker rushed 19 times for 205 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Hawks to a 49-32 win over Floyd Central at the Hawks Nest this past Friday night.
Quarterback Tyler Hunt added a pair of touchdowns passes and he also ran for one as the Hawks improved to 2-3. Hunt passed for 60 yards and ran for 61.
Isaiah Hess added 94 yards on 14 carries and one rushing touchdown. He also caught a 10-yard touchdown pass.
Floyd Central quarterback Caleb Hager passed for three touchdowns and running back Brae Coleman carried six times for 49 yards and one score. Dalton Boyd caught a pair of touchdowns passes.
Running back Josh Whitaker finished with 58 yards on 17 carries.
Floyd Central will play at Belfry (4-1) and Pike Central travels to Perry Central (4-1) Friday night. Both games will kickoff at 7:30 p.m.
