STANVILLE – Shelby Valley totaled nearly 500 yards offensively against Betsy Layne as the Wildcats scored a 50-0 win at Bobcat Field this past Friday night.
Quarterback Sam Stanley passed for 100 yards and three touchdowns and running back Seth Johnson rushed for 202 yards and three scores as Valley improved to 5-1.
Ethan Bentley carried five times for 107 yards and Dalton Meade finished with 54 and one touchdown on three rushes.
Sean Miller, Jesse Wright and Meade each had a touchdown reception.
Valley is idle until Oct. 5 when the Wildcats travel to Prestonsburg (0-5) while the Bobcats, now 0-6, play at East Ridge (1-4) Friday night.
