What is your coaching philosophy? “……. it is all about relationships. When I stopped focusing on wins and losses and started focusing on raising strong, independent young women who know that I love them, coaching changed. And, guess what, the wins were more often too.
Favorite food? “Salmon or pizza. It depends on whether I am being super disciplined or not!”
Country or rock? “Country for sure.”
Favorite artist? “Chris Stapleton”
Who is your hero? “Without a doubt, my Dad! My Mom died when I was four, and he stepped into the full-time role as both my Mother and my Father. He taught me that if you want something, you work for it. He also is the reason I try to always look like a lady when I coach. In the late 70’s and early 80’s many questioned if a single father could raise a young lady. It’s always been important to both of us to prove that he could.
